When you stand at the top of the Zena Crown Vineyard, a vista of rolling hills, vineyards and mountainsides lay before you. The precision and trellising are meticulous providing the perfect environment for the classically styled Pinot Noir. Folded like an accordion, the 2016 Vista opens with red fruit and citrus up front, transitioning to darker flavors and herbs on the finish. Aromas of clover blossom, tamarind, pipe tobacco and tangelo lead into flavors of cranberries, milk chocolate, sage and marjoram on the palate. 3/4” minus gravely tannins linger in the finish.
